Gergebilskaya HPP

Built in 1931 Gergebilskaya HPP was the first ever hydroelectric power plant in the USSR and Europe,built with a high-pressure 70m dam made of cast-in-situ concrete.The plant capacity is 17.500 kW. In service are three new units 5 MW each and two old ones 1.2 MW each. Dam height - 69.53m; crest thickness - 1.89m; max thickness - 19.8m
